《CurrentZoology》(双月刊)成立于1935年。这是一份由中国科学院院长、中国科学院动物研究所和中国动物学会主办的以基础动物学研究和应用基础研究为主的综合性学术期刊。
《CurrentZoology》发表生态学(包括分支)和行为学、动物地理学、进化生物学、动物繁殖、发育和衰老、生理学和生物化学、细胞学、遗传学和分子生物学以及动物形态学方面的创造性研究论文。它被国内外许多检索系统收录，如《中国科学文献数据库》、《中国科学引文索引》、《剑桥科学文摘》、《生殖文献目录》、《WHO医学公报》等。

Current Zoology杂志社投稿须知 1, the manuscript should be reliable, accurate data, creative, scientific, practical.The argument should be novel, argument is sufficient and reliable data, conceited (plagiarism), the text should be concise.

(ii) the addresses of the institutions at which the work was carried out together with the full postal address incluing post codes;
(iii) the email address, telephone and facsimile umbers of the author to whom correspondence about the manuscript should be sent.
The present address of any author, if different from that where the work was carried out, should be supplied as a footnote.
